Hi, Class!
For your first blog post, I want you to introduce yourself to me as a writer. Please complete this assignment by Friday morning.
How do you feel about writing? Do you consider yourself a writer? Why or why not? Tell me more about your relationship with writing in the past, and how you hope this class helps you become a better writer. Tell me anything else you want me to know, as well, like your favorite color, or how you're obsessed with roller coasters.
For help with things like spelling and grammar, I encourage you to type this blog post into a Microsoft Word Document, and then paste it in the fancy text box provided to you by the wonderful people at blogger.

ReplyDeleteFor the most part, I personally enjoy writing. I consider it to be my best form of expression and shows forth my creativity. What I may not be able to say aloud comes alive on paper. I do not consider myself to be a writer, based on the fact that I do not right often. A writer, I believe is to be passionate and dedicated to his or her work, whereas the only time I write is when I’m venting on Twitter or Face book. When I was in grade school I was more passionate about writing, because there were no rules. I could use the word “and” as many times as I wanted to, and it was okay to start my sentences with “because”. It wasn’t until I got to my freshman year of high school that my passion began to decrease. I could no longer write how ever I wanted to write, I was now bound by rules and guidelines that I had to follow. I am hoping that this class gives me a new perspective on writing, which might restore and grow the passion I had to write. Even though I am a Fashion Design major, in which my primary focus would not be writing. I hope to bring the same creativity in my writing as I do in my designs.
ReplyDeleteI could honestly say that i really dont like writing. The only time i write is when i have to or if im bored. If I have nothing else to do i might pick up a pen and paper and write a peom or two. I dont consider myself as a writter but i've been told that i write some pretty good stories. This past summer i had summer classes and in my english class i worte a pretty good story that made my teacher cry. Thats somkething i would never forget but although i do enjoy making the stories, i dont like writing them as much.

ReplyDeleteHi, sincerely don’t like to write, I have been writing since I’m little, but not in this language, and it is a bit difficult for me since I’m new to English as a language therefore I’m here to learn.
